Night of the ViolinSeek you me in a grave shallow,
bleeding upon a blade of rusted steel
The mood of a rose ascends beyond ether
caressing souls in skies hoary
From the pitch of solitude she appears,
dark hair soaking upon winds quiver
(violin weeping in the dew of nocturnal sunrise)
As the moon whispers in twilight's fall
my thoughts swirl into a halo of numb reverie
Entranced in the gloaming of her love
dripping within the lotus of her serenade
Beset in eyes of jade,
drowning in sensual delight
Seduced in a gothic sky
Deepest gaze unleashed into my soul;
she weaves a spell of turquoise feather
her violin brushes my skin in dreamy hues
Evanescent in spectral shards of solemn rains
my thoughts swoon in burning juniper
Servant to the epitome of her will
basking in the shadows of her mind
kissed in the aura of sweet sorrow;
untold love begins to flow
Embroidered in the ballet of night's fall
violins seethe in star-clustered valleys
like a burning choir of lonely spirits
My thirst blushes in a sea
MYTHODEA ~ Dark Night of Soul
In the labyrinth of darkest dreams, I am the pitch
of coldest night
In the solace of the blackest dawn I seek you
Where unblinking eyes sojourn in forests wild,
the kiss of ash and sanguine bespeaks
Whispers of a thousand skies rust and fall
The syrup of the gloaming hums thru the trees..
Obsidian mists bejewel the hunger of my soul,
like silhouettes dissolving into the poise of talons
In murk of scorched grove, Witches tears drip from
the leaves caressing the tip of my tongue
Acrid winds scented by forbidden incantations,
slither deep into the prelude of Love's sacrament
In shallow of ebon fields I bask in beautiful decay,
as black roses drift in ballads of nocturnal reverie
Beneath the providence of dark stars, I am the river;
the ink which you lust mystic poison & naked flesh
Undress thy ache upon sable breath, drink my gaze
Covet my shadow, unto forever you shall drown

The River Acheron(a movement of blood - destiny)
It is a place where life ends and love begins..
It is the river where lovers meet
~ A river forged in deepest scarlet.
Lost in the silence of blackened candles,
clad in silhouettes of poison I seek love
In the song of a ravaged dawn I hath drowned
Deep in the flesh of the underworld I bathe in
the nectar of requiem
O' father, caress my untamed wounds with
your dread, lest I wander among angels
Dark'n dreary the river's sorrow, as shadows
spill from mine eyes unto gardens of ebony
where my ache forever sails in portraits
of scarlet & decayed dreams
Under a blood-filled sky, I shall undress you
in the abyss of my dead soul
The wilderness of your lips I will ordain in
temples of melancholy as you lust and wither
Ash and sanguine bespeaks in the mists of
my sable carriage as haste I night's garnish
Surrender thee to eudemon horizons for
thou hath become the audience of
my eternal darkness
Bequeath your soul t
Where the Crows BleedSilhouettes of scarlet whisper
among the bones..
Forsaken beneath earth and stone, I am
bejeweled in the River's dread
Trees clad in sanguine
salivate in the abyss of sorrow
The perfume of blood seduces the sky
incantations of the netherworld
Ebon ghosts shimmer in falling ash,
where love decays evermore
I undress in the lust of darkness; my soul
bequeathed to oblivion seeds the wind
with poisoned tongue flickering
Upon banks of obsidian I gaze
haunted in a tempest of necromancy
I render my ache in shadow-fire,
deep in the dark flow
Behold! The River Acheron!
In the syrup of dreams
crimson fields burn in my eye
Bleeding in the silence of dark ether,
I seek your lips..
The song of afterlife covets our love
Kisses blush upon a blade of rusted steel
Corvid screams bathe in Death's lullaby
Vistas of requiem caress our flesh,
as the River seethes deep in my veins
Unto my brethren do I bask
among black wings wicked n' dreary
Like pitch cast over hallowed waters,
Hunting Avalon's MoonBeneath a sky of Kings, mortal life quivered
Warm rains spilled a fever of unborn dreams;
— like a silent song of golden pollen falling in
timeless reverie, seeding forests arcane
The dawn of enchantment crested ancient lands,
adorning the hunger of shadows and spirits
Long I stood in the flow of primeval rapture...
where unto the hallowed beckoned wild
I slept in the cradle of Nature's magick,
windswept in feasts of tongue & flame
Dreams and dreamers, in haste I did reap
And I thrusted my sword into the sky
Ever night's bequest, the stars shall not die
Thru seasons of fabled rhythms I roamed;
— my soul etched into the mists of time
O'er pastel fields, untamed memories seek
In a circle of Kings, I shimmered in ebon robes
Perfumed eyes gathered like nightingales
And I watched upon gossamer tides —
Merlin caught her gaze resting among
the promise of stars and beloved Moon
"Thou art heavenly clad in velvet starlight"
She fled upon his song & wept in quietude,
Mystique of LoveWithin a myriad of jeweled-talons, all has been foretold..
this is the odyssey!
In the depths of indigo, ancients forage the silence of stars
Eons spent, mythical shores soak the wine of Legends
~We slept in the embers of creation, among fire & ice,
reborn in the dew of hallowed fields
Streams of silver sparkle like a web cast in a forest of green
Naked whispers linger in soft mists thru realms of Fae, as
moonlight aches in the paint of our dreams....
Unto the beauty of an Elf, I have been slain embroidered
in Passion's immortal feast
Emerald Kingdoms flourished in lucid waves of ambrosia
& the syrup of our kiss became the poetry of the sky
~Prelude of Souls~
Golden wings of an Eagle soared & swallowed the Sun
her prominence forever bound to the wisdom of clouds
Betwixt fountains of light & rain her eyes glistened..
When the gloaming befell she awoke, & the forest reached
towards the ether of fabled constellations .
From the pitch of Night's lair I s
A Siren's Call
Visions of madness shimmer in silvery skies
Horizons of passion drown in timeless beauty
There is a voice so pure that can melt a Sun,
a fragrance so luring that can reap mortal breath
Once thou hath gazed into the eyes of a Siren,
love befalls in a kiss, upon whispers of death
An endless ocean swirls, ethereal waves bewail
the sound of her cry haunts eons of dreams
In the deepest abyss, my soul shall forever sail
For a thousand years, I drifted in her song
lost in restless fever of wanton seas
Gently I reached towards her long silvery hair;
embroidered in tempest of Love's odyssey
Tears of sapphire jewel oceans deep ...
luminous thoughts seeking the nectar of bliss
Among flesh and shadows, I crave evermore
Lips unveiled, blackness approaches
my destiny entombed by the Siren's lore
When the world turns forever still,
only the sound of her fleeting whispers remain,
like echoes of rain, suspended over the sea

Sapphire CastlesLavished in celestial streams of rich azure,
her voice weaves thru star-systems with song
Depthless eyes fabled in mystery furnish worlds,
as conquests of time fold into silence...
She is the mystique of the cosmos 'elixir immortale,
embalming the wilderness of dreams
O'er a thousand skies captive in the fever of her ocean;
my breath anchors, where a life-time of souls drown
in brushed whispers of candle flame
Kingdoms of passion unveil in ethereal tides,
as the sun traces her finger tips over my skin
Burning in Pleiadian mythology I reach into vistas
of indigo towards the lips of a Goddess
Unto sapphire castles I sail, adrift in rhythms of euphoria
Evermore I feast in rivers of mysticism;
lucid galaxies undress upon the tip of my tongue
Flame of her kiss Heaven's supernova, where my soul
shall be slain & made into the perfume of eternity
Hues of gold chase the shadows in my veins..
Artisans of destiny paint the odyssey of gossamer winds,
blushing like desert am
THE CROWGlistening feathers,
Blacker than the darkest night
A specter weaving through the clouds
Majestic is his flight
Piercing eyes reach into my soul
From the netherworld he will come
When I am no longer whole
Spawned from the magick of old
In a lingering mist he waits
Cast in velvet shadows so cold
Roses fall upon my grave
Talons clasp my fading spirit
A fallen love will he save
Shrieks echo across a leaden sky
Life descends to the arms of death
Scarlet tears begin to fly
Memories my heart cannot sever
Broken dreams whisper —
real love is forever

I missI miss
the feeling of
your soft skin
the sore in
my paining heart
when you're away
you gave me
always and ever
returned to me
you my love
as I stand here
before your fresh grave
You were not a goddess -
no ivory trespass
or oath in alabaster
to wrap in cloth and bury where
it could not be found;
no vessel to be cherished or
adorned with oil.
Too much skin
to fill up a world of men.
You could not breathe
under water -
your hair a window
floating, framed across the surface
as the water line rose up
the pier and sucked barnacles
But we made you a myth
an omen for the young men
who placed the ocean
under their caps
and baited their hooks
every morning to try
to catch the silver trout
left shining on the rocks
where they hauled in the waves
The flames of hope have flickered out
Hope has returned, only to flicker out.
Gone before our eyes, almost touching it.
Our hand reaching, it destroyed to much.
The flames of hope are dark, we can't see.
No light in our eyes, guiding our path.
The journey will be in shadows again.
Whisper in your hands, before it escapes.
No words for your ears, hope is gone.
The light has slowly flickered out.
Our eyes are deaf, our ears are blind.
We can't see what's left behind.
Don't know what's in our front.
The flames of hope have flickered out.
We are left behind deaf and blind.
Yet we journey on, just to stay strong.
In PiecesThey sent him home in pieces -
heart in a box;
bladder and spleen disinfected,
wrapped up like a birthday.
His legs followed suit,
each one mended
and folded like an accordion -
toes tightly shut,
and knees zipped.
Next came his arms,
two delinquent acrobats -
first the right one
tightly sleeved and fitted,
waving like the last night
of the circus;
then the left -
its listless shrug
shriveled under the tissue paper.
His torso followed discreetly
as if wondering
where everybody went
and who would still be up
at this hour.
His head came last -
crated like apples at Christmas;
his eyebrows permanently surprised
upon his forehead
and his tongue
a final, flat declaration
IsaacI saw your face
in the post office
It was one of those
eight by elevens
with black lettering,
It was an old picture
as if your chin
had not grown up yet
and your hair
framed your cheeks
as if to say
I, too, am a visitor.
They spelled your name wrong -
there are two A's in Isaac
and you looked
like you had been caught
wearing someone else's skin -
the scar at your temple
was a faded moon,
crescent and grey at the corner
and I could tell
you had not slept
Floodwater rising -
toys swell in the attic
ravenous as reeds
savaging the millpond
after summer rains.
all around me -
peeling back the skin
of this house
like a secret flying south.
I feel it creep
into the joints
of furniture and the carpet's dying edges
where the sideboard crouches
on silent paws.
Wet fills my ears
that scent of things
too ripe to wear
and the slur
between the wall and floors
slipping off the roof
and bits of reed
like living under glass.
A Poets DreamSomeday I will steal a poet
and make her yearn for me.
Her eyes will be as beautiful
as the words she speaks.
In the night
I will make her sing.
When morning comes
to shine its light,
those eyes will hold no resentment
She will place no blame upon my skin,
She will see me for who I am really am.
She will see me for me.
At that moment
I will light her way
will smile for me.
The Snake A
as a snake
with a head
that I bow.
in my mind,
as a knight
in the cloudfull
a hue of
black and blue;
a trail of rave,
and broken down
pieces of sane.
With a pace
NO! NO! NO!
StonesThese stones, once enchanted, now leave no trace
of a distant magic in a foreign tongue -
just dream-prints left to carve this place.
A stranger breed has now begun
and left its tracks amidst this space,
the souls left blinking without a sun.
History spared time's rude grace.
We leave our prayers among the bones.
Bittersweet and green,
simple in its mien,
Potent bloom and sheen,
pressed on lips so clean,
Poison felt so keen
hangs her life between.
Now let winter's spell
seek out the newly hung moon
and transform the sky.
Tides of Earth and Sky
And the ache of soul carried the torch of dreams into the sky
Upon scent of mortal thirst destiny whispered in myriad
rapture of folding tides..
Lo the mythic shore, where I — a phantasm of love bleeds
into the ether of velvet sky & ocean hymn...
Lost in the wine of omni-dreaming, for our passion tis but
the humble audience of eternity
In jeweled horizons the Goddess feasts; her gaze I cannot flee
I have crossed oceans of time & drank the song of worlds
My spirit forever slain in the beauty of her immortal sea
